Notes

Studio recording for 'amo' (2018/2019). Lee Malia used his signature Epiphone Les Paul with Bare Knuckle pickups, running into a Marshall JCM 800, boosted by a Klon Centaur or Klon Klone. Wizard Modern Classic also mentioned as a secondary amp for higher gain, but JCM 800 is primary for riff tone. Settings are estimated based on typical Marshall JCM 800 usage for modern metal/rock and Lee's own comments about running the amp 'super loud' with a Klon for bite.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, percussive palm muting and precise rhythm, with moderate technical challenge due to syncopation and the need for clean articulation at medium tempo.
