Billie Joe Armstrong used his Fernandes Strat copy ('Blue') with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Marshall JCM900 for the main rhythm/riff tones. No evidence of pedal use for distortion on this track; distortion comes from amp gain. No evidence of additional effects or pedals in the riff section.
