Notes

Studio recording, 1995. Billy Corgan used his 'Soul Head' JCM 800 for about 30% of the album, with the rest through a Marshall rack preamp and Mesa/Boogie head. For 'Jellybelly' riff, the JCM 800 is most likely, as per Corgan's interview. Guitar is the '57 reissue Strat, as used for most heavy rhythm tracks on Mellon Collie.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, aggressive picking and tight palm muting to maintain clarity in a high-gain, layered mix. While not technically virtuosic, the tempo and precision needed for the rhythm work make it moderately challenging.
