Notes

Studio recording, 1985-1986 (The Ultimate Sin album sessions). Jake E. Lee used his white Charvel San Dimas with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge for the heavy riff sections. No evidence of additional gain pedals for the main riff; distortion comes from the cranked JCM800. No evidence of chorus/flanger/phaser/delay on the riff section; effects are minimal and dry for the heavy rhythm. Pickup selector set to bridge humbucker for riff.

Difficulty

The riff requires precise palm muting, fast and accurate power chord changes, and dynamic control to maintain clarity and aggression, making it moderately challenging for intermediate players.
