Notes

Studio recording, 1991/1992 album session. Tom Morello used his American-made Telecaster for all drop D Rage Against the Machine tracks, including 'Killing In the Name.' No evidence of alternate guitars for the clean section. All sources point to the JCM800 as the amp used in the studio.

Difficulty

The clean section is rhythmically straightforward but requires tight muting and precise picking to maintain the percussive, articulate feel. No advanced techniques, but timing and clarity are critical.
