Notes
Studio recording (1975, Fleetwood Mac 'Fleetwood Mac' album) is almost certainly a mic'd high-end acoustic guitar (likely a Martin or Taylor, possibly a Dobro, but Taylor 814ce is a modern equivalent). Electric guitars (Les Paul Custom, Turner Model 1) were used live, but not on the original studio riff. No evidence of amp or pedal use on the original studio riff. All sources agree: riff is acoustic fingerpicking, not electric.
