Notes

Studio recording, 2016 (album release year). Fish used her Alpine White Gibson SG into a Fender Deluxe Reverb, sometimes blended with a '65 Super Reverb, but Deluxe Reverb is the main amp for 'Lay It Down' solo. Pedalboard included Analog Man King of Tone for overdrive and MXR Carbon Copy for delay. No evidence of fuzz or heavy modulation on this solo. Pickup likely bridge for solo cut. No evidence of effects loop or amp-based delay; reverb is from amp. All info is for studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The solo requires intermediate-level control of bends, vibrato, and dynamic phrasing, with a need to manage sustain and articulation at edge-of-breakup gain. While not technically extreme, the solo demands expressive touch and control.
