Notes

Studio recording, 1978. Guitar plugged into Neve 8068 console for DI, but also through Deluxe Reverb for some tracks. Main riff section confirmed to use the Strat's neck pickup, volume and tone on 10. Outboard compression and EQ used in studio, but no evidence of pedals or time-based effects in the riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced funk rhythm skills, including tight muting, syncopation, and precise timing, making it challenging for most players despite the lack of fast lead lines.
