Studio recording, 1982; Nile Rodgers played the main riff on his famous 'Hitmaker' Stratocaster. Stevie Ray Vaughan played lead/solo but not the main riff. Amp is widely reported as Roland JC-120 for the clean, bright, percussive tone. No evidence of pedals on the riff section; chorus effect is from the amp. 2002 Remaster uses original 1982 recording.
