Live performance at Irving Plaza, NY, 9/21/04. Billie Joe's main live rig for American Idiot era. Guitar is almost always the Les Paul Junior for heavy/riff sections. Amp is the modded Marshall Plexi with C.A.E. 3+ preamp, slaved into Marshall power amp. No evidence of additional pedals for distortion; distortion is from amp/preamp. Speakers are Marshall G12 Vintage 30s. No evidence of additional effects for riff section.
