Studio recording, circa 2011 (from 'New Album' era). Wata's core rig for Boris riff sections includes the Les Paul Custom with Seymour Duncan pickups into an Orange Rockerverb 50 MKII. Fuzz is central, with the Elk Big Muff or EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas (BM clone) as the main pedal. No evidence of modulation or time-based effects in the riff section; tape echo and other effects are used for leads/atmosphere, not the main riff.
