Notes
Studio recording, 1989 (In Step sessions). SRV used his main 'Number One' Strat, typically with the neck or neck+middle pickup for rhythm. Amp was usually a Fender Vibroverb, sometimes blended with other Fenders or Dumble, but Vibroverb is most consistently cited for this track. Overdrive from Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808 or TS9, always on for rhythm. No chorus, delay, or modulation audible in riff section. Light spring reverb from amp.
