Studio recording, 1984 (Couldn’t Stand the Weather sessions). Main riff section. SRV's 'Number One' Strat, tuned down to Eb, heavy GHS Nickel Rockers (.013-.058 or heavier). Used Vibroverb for overdrive, Tube Screamer for edge-of-breakup. Pickup selector set to neck or neck+middle. No chorus, delay, or modulation effects audible in riff section. Wah not used in riff. Studio spring reverb from amp.
