Studio recording, 1994. Noel Gallagher used his Epiphone Les Paul Standard for the clean rhythm parts on 'Live Forever'. The Marshall JCM900 was the primary amp for the album, with clean tones achieved by rolling down the guitar volume and keeping amp gain low. No evidence of additional pedals or effects for the clean riff section. No chorus, delay, or modulation audible in the clean intro/riff. All sources agree this is the studio setup, not live.
