Notes

Studio recording, 1985, Soul to Soul album. SRV used his 'Number One' Strat and a Vibroverb for most studio solos in this era. Dumble Steel String Singer was also in his rig, but Vibroverb was primary for overdriven tones. No evidence of live rig or other guitars for this solo.

Difficulty

The solo requires advanced blues phrasing at a fast tempo, with expressive bends, dynamic picking, and precise articulation typical of SRV's style.
