Studio recording, 2016 (Dystopia album). Mustaine used his signature Gibson V with Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor pickups. Amp tone was modeled via Neural DSP Quad Cortex, emulating an EVH 5150III head and 4x12 cab. No evidence of pedals in the riff section; Mustaine is known for minimal pedal use in rhythm parts. Settings estimated based on genre, amp, and era. No evidence of live rig or alternate guitars for this section.
