Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 1993-1994, The Division Bell sessions. All gear confirmed for studio use, not live. Effects chain includes DigiTech Whammy WH-1, Roland AP-7 Jet Phaser, Demeter TRM-1 Tremulator, Ernie Ball 6166 Volume Pedal. No evidence of Big Muff or Tube Driver for the riff section; those are more associated with solos.

Difficulty

While not technically fast or complex, the riff requires advanced control of effects (volume, Whammy, delay), precise timing, and expressive dynamics to achieve the iconic ambient sound.
