Notes

Studio recording for 'Meant to Live' (2003, The Beautiful Letdown). Amp and cab confirmed by Matt Beckley, who lent the gear for the session. Live, Jon used Vox AC30 and Fulldrive, but the studio recording used the VHT Pittbull. No evidence of alternate guitars or amps for the main riff in the studio.

Difficulty

The riff is rhythmically straightforward but requires tight palm muting, drop D tuning, and consistent attack for the percussive, articulate sound.
