Notes

Studio recording, 1984-1985 for 'Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!'. Dave Mustaine confirmed use of B.C. Rich Bich and Marshall JCM800 for this era. No evidence of additional pedals or rack effects for the riff section; distortion from amp. No evidence of effects loop or studio re-amping for the riff. All evidence points to a straight guitar-amp setup for the main rhythm/riff.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, accurate alternate picking and tight palm muting at high speed, demanding precise right-hand technique and stamina typical of advanced thrash metal rhythm playing.
