Notes

Studio recording, 2003-2004 (Reise, Reise sessions). Richard Z. Kruspe used his ESP RZK-1 prototype with EMG active pickups into a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier (3-channel, Voodoo-modded) for main distortion tones. No evidence of pedal use for the riff section; minimal effects, focus on amp gain. Pickup and amp model confirmed by interviews and gear rundowns for this era.

Difficulty

The riff requires intermediate-level palm muting and rhythmic precision at a moderately fast tempo, but does not involve advanced lead techniques or complex chord voicings.
