Notes

Studio recording, 1993. Brent Mason played the riff section using his '68 Telecaster into a '67 Fender Deluxe Reverb. Pedal use was minimal for Alan Jackson's studio work, but a Boss compressor was sometimes used. No evidence of live/touring gear or alternate guitars for the riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires intermediate to advanced country rhythm skills, including fast alternate picking, chicken pickin', and precise muting for a tight, articulate sound.
