Alexi's studio rig for this era is well-documented: Lee Jackson GP-1000 preamp into VHT/Fryette 2150 power amp, Marshall 1960B cab with Celestion G12T-75s. ESP Alexi signature V with EMG HZ-FH2 passive pickup and built-in preamp booster. No evidence of live JVM/JCM800 for this recording. Effects are minimal, with EQ and boost for solos.
