Studio recording for 'Outshined' (Remastered 2016), riff section. Kim Thayil used the Guild S-300 as the main guitar when he was the sole guitarist for songs like 'Outshined.' Amps were blended Marshall JMP 50 and Mesa-Boogie Dual Rectifier, both set to moderate levels. No evidence of pedal use for riff tone; gain from amps. Recording year: 1991 (original), remastered 2016.
