Studio recording, 1967 Disraeli Gears sessions. No evidence of pedals or effects other than amp overdrive. All sources agree on the SG and Marshall stack for this era and song. No treble booster or fuzz used. Pickup and tone knob settings are critical for the 'woman tone' but for the riff section, Clapton used a brighter, more open sound than for solos.
