Notes

Studio recording, 2006. Barry Stock used Ibanez SZ320 with humbuckers into Diezel VH4 for the main riff/distorted sections. Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier is sometimes cited for live or similar tones, but Diezel VH4 is confirmed for the album. Settings are for studio recording. Pickup selector likely set to bridge for tight, aggressive rhythm. No evidence of additional effects except slight reverb and noise gate for tightness.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, aggressive palm muting and precise rhythm, but uses straightforward power chords and moderate tempo, making it intermediate-level for most players.
