Notes

Studio recording, 1992-1993 sessions for Suede's debut album. Bernard Butler is known to have used a Gibson Les Paul Custom into a Marshall JCM800 for the heavy/distorted rhythm sections. No evidence of pedal use for the main riff section; Butler often plugged straight into the amp for core tones.

Difficulty

The riff requires expressive dynamic control and precise chord voicings, but does not involve advanced techniques or fast playing.
