Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 1968. No evidence of pedals or effects other than amp reverb. Sam Andrew and James Gurley both used SGs and Dual Showmans in this era. No fuzz or wah audible in the solo section; amp was run loud for natural breakup.

Difficulty

The solo is intermediate due to its expressive phrasing, dynamic picking, and use of bends/vibrato, but does not require advanced speed or complex techniques.
