Studio recording, 1983, Texas Flood sessions at Jackson Browne’s Down Town Studio. Only one Vibroverb was miked for the main riff; Dumble Dumbleland Special also used for its tight, big clean tones. No overdubs, live in studio. Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 only used for solos, not riff.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced right-hand shuffle technique, strong left-hand muting, and control over heavy-gauge strings in Eb tuning, making it challenging for most players.
