Studio recording, 1990/1991 for Gish album. Billy Corgan used his Stratocaster into a Marshall JCM800, with the Electro-Harmonix Op-Amp Big Muff for fuzz/distortion. No evidence of other pedals or effects on the riff section. Settings estimated based on era, genre, and amp model. No evidence of chorus, delay, or modulation on the riff.
