Notes

Studio recording, 1978, Powerage album. Angus Young tracked the riff section with a Gibson SG Standard (bridge pickup) into a Marshall JMP 2203 Master Volume. The Schaffer-Vega Diversity System (wireless/boost) was used as a tone device in the studio. No evidence of additional pedals or effects for the riff section. Settings are for the original studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The riff is challenging due to its high speed, continuous open-string figures, and the need for precise picking and stamina. Maintaining clarity and articulation at this tempo is difficult even for advanced players.
