Notes

Studio recording, 1978 (Powerage album). Angus Young used his late 60s Gibson SG Standard into a Marshall Super Lead 1959 head and 4x12 cab, no pedals or effects except possible Schaffer-Vega Diversity System wireless (which adds slight compression/boost). No evidence of pedals or amp effects used on the solo. Pickup selector set to bridge. No effects loop.

Difficulty

The solo is fast-paced with demanding picking, large bends, and intricate phrasing, requiring strong technical control and stamina.
