Notes

Studio recording, 2013-2014. Adam Hann used a Fender Jaguar for the main riff of 'Robbers' with a Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus amp, as confirmed by Equipboard and interviews. Effects pedals including Strymon TimeLine and Boss CE-1 were used for delay and chorus. The JC-120's clean channel is favored for the crystalline, chorus-laden sound. Settings are estimated based on typical JC-120 use for this genre and era.

Difficulty

The riff requires clean, syncopated picking and precise timing to blend with the delay and chorus effects, but does not involve advanced techniques or high speed.
