Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 1984 (Reckless album). Bryan Adams confirmed using his 1960 Stratocaster and a split signal into a Vox AC30 and a Marshall or Hiwatt stack for the album. The riff section is the focus. No evidence of Les Paul on this section. Effects chain included a Pete Cornish treble booster or Ibanez Tube Screamer depending on the track. Chorus effect is clearly audible on the riff.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight timing, palm muting, and dynamic pick attack, but is otherwise straightforward for an intermediate player.
