Studio recording, 1977-78. Guitar volume rolled back for riff. No pedal distortion; amp cranked with variac. No chorus, phaser, or flanger on riff. Echoplex EP-3 tape echo used as a preamp/boost, not for audible delay. Reverb is from Sunset Sound echo chamber (studio effect, not pedal/amp).
