Notes

Studio recording (2012), Periphery II album. Mark Holcomb used his PRS SE signature with Seymour Duncan Alpha/Omega pickups. Main amp for heavy rhythm tones was a Peavey 5150/6505, possibly layered with digital amp sims (Line 6, Axe-FX) for tightness. No evidence of live rig or other amps for the original recording.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced right-hand technique for tight, fast palm muting and syncopated rhythms, as well as precise left-hand muting and alternate picking at a fast tempo. The technical demands and speed place it at a 'hard' difficulty.
