Notes

Studio recording for 'Scream' (1999, Famous Monsters album). Doyle is known for running his EMG 81-equipped Iceman directly into a high-wattage Ampeg SVT bass amp for maximum headroom and aggressive punk tone. No evidence of pedals or effects used on the riff section. No pickup selector or tone knob on the guitar; only bridge pickup is active.

Difficulty

The riff is fast and requires tight, aggressive downstrokes and palm muting, but uses straightforward power chords and punk rhythm, making it accessible to most players with some experience.
