Notes

Studio recording for 'Sea Stories' (2016, 'A Sailor's Guide to Earth'). Laur Joamets played the riff section using his '74 Telecaster into a stereo amp setup: the 'Charmer' (Fender Tweed Deluxe replica) and a hot-rodded Silverface Fender Champ. No evidence of live rig or British amps for this studio recording. Minimal pedal use; possibly a touch of reverb from a TC Electronic Hall of Fame pedal, but mostly amp and guitar tone.

Difficulty

The riff requires intermediate-level country rhythm technique, including hybrid picking and dynamic control for clarity and groove, but does not involve advanced soloing or complex chord changes.
