Notes

Studio recording, 1985-1986. Zakk Wylde was not yet in the band; Jake E. Lee played on the original recording. However, Zakk Wylde's later statements about using EMGs and JCM800s reference his own era, not the original. For the original studio recording, Jake E. Lee used a Gibson Les Paul Custom with EMG pickups into a Marshall JCM800. No evidence of pedal use for the riff section. Settings estimated based on era, amp, and genre.

Difficulty

The riff requires precise palm muting, fast alternate picking, and tight rhythm, making it moderately challenging for intermediate players.
