Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 2021 ('Servant of the Mind' album). Michael Poulsen and Rob Caggiano both use Kemper Profilers with Fryette Sig:X amp profiles for rhythm tracks. No pedals used for distortion; all gain from amp/profile. Effects (if any) handled via Fractal Axe-Fx III, but for heavy rhythm, signal is typically dry.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, fast palm muting and precise alternate picking at a high tempo, with aggressive attack and control over muting. Not technically advanced, but demands stamina and accuracy.
