Notes

Studio recording, 1983. Mick Mars used his white Strat 'Isabella' and sometimes a Gibson Melody Maker, but the main riff is widely attributed to the Strat. Amps were vintage Marshall plexis modded by Jose Arredondo, sometimes blended with a Garnet head for low end. No evidence of pedals for the riff section; distortion is from the amp. Studio, not live.

Difficulty

The riff is rhythmically straightforward but requires tight palm muting, aggressive picking, and precise timing to match the punchy, percussive feel of the original recording.
