Notes
Studio recording, 1998. John Rzeznik used the Guild Songbird for the main riff section of 'Slide' on the Dizzy Up the Girl album. The amp was a Marshall JCM800 2205, with some tracks possibly using a Fender Bassman, but the JCM800 is most consistently cited for this era and song. No evidence of additional pedals or effects in the riff section; the tone is primarily the result of the acoustic-electric guitar through the amp, possibly with some studio EQ/processing. No evidence of live rig or alternate guitars for the studio riff section.
