Notes

Studio recording, 1976. Brian May's Red Special into a treble booster and then into a Vox AC30. No evidence of additional pedals or rack effects on the original studio solo. All harmonies and layering done via overdubs. No chorus, delay, or other modulation effects audible or cited for the solo section. Pickup configuration: bridge and middle in series and in phase, as per May's typical solo setup for this era.

Difficulty

The solo requires advanced phrasing, expressive vibrato, and the ability to track and harmonize multiple guitar parts with precision, making it challenging for most players.
