Notes

Studio recording, 2017 (Noir album). NOVELISTS are known for using Mayones guitars with Bare Knuckle pickups and Kemper Profilers for their modern metal tones. No direct source for the exact amp profile, but Dual Rectifier is standard for this genre and band. No evidence of live rig or other amps for this specific recording.

Difficulty

The riff requires precise, fast alternate picking and tight palm muting, with syncopated rhythms and string skipping typical of modern djent/metalcore, making it challenging for most players.
