Notes

Studio recording for Led Zeppelin IV (1971). Jimmy Page used his 1959 Telecaster (gifted by Jeff Beck) for the clean intro and verse sections, plugged into a Supro Coronado 1690T amp. No pedals were used for the clean tone; all effects are from the amp or studio. This is the clean section, not the solo or overdriven part.

Difficulty

The clean intro and verse require careful fingerpicking/hybrid picking, accurate chord voicings, and dynamic control to maintain clarity and articulation, but do not involve advanced techniques or fast passages.
