Notes

Studio recording, 2001 (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket). Tom DeLonge's ES-333 signature with only the bridge humbucker wired, into a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier. No pedals used for clean tone per forum consensus and interviews. Clean tone achieved by rolling down guitar volume and using amp's clean channel. No evidence of chorus, delay, or other modulation in the clean riff section.

Difficulty

The riff is straightforward but requires tight timing and dynamic control to maintain clarity and percussiveness in the clean section.
