Notes

Live performance, 1986-1987 era, as documented for 'Superstition (Live)' on Live Alive LP and Daytona Beach 1987. Not SRV's No. 1 Strat, but the white 'Charley' guitar. Amps likely cranked to edge of breakup, with Tube Screamer for additional drive. No evidence of studio effects, this is a live rig.

Difficulty

The riff requires strong left/right hand coordination, heavy attack, and precise timing to nail the groove and muting, making it challenging for intermediate players.
