Studio recording, 1986; C.C. DeVille used a Kramer Baretta with a single Seymour Duncan JB humbucker into a Marshall JCM800 for the main riff. No evidence of pedal use for the riff section; distortion comes from the amp. No chorus, flanger, or delay audible in the riff. No evidence of effects loop or additional pedals for the main rhythm/riff tone.
