Studio recording, 1982. Mark Knopfler used a Schecter Dream Machine Stratocaster with EMG SA pickups into a Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+ for the 'Telegraph Road' solo. Effects were added via pedals and rack units. No evidence of live/tour gear for the studio version.
