Notes

Studio recording, 1981. Glenn Tilbrook stated in Guitar World that he used original Boogie amps for classic Squeeze tracks including 'Tempted'. No evidence of pedals used on the original studio recording; Tilbrook notes he stopped using pedals except for compressors and amp reverb, and used volume control for dynamics.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, syncopated strumming and clean articulation, but does not involve advanced techniques or fast tempo. Dynamic control is important for the even, polished pop sound.
