Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 1996. Dimebag used his Washburn ML guitars with Bill Lawrence L-500XL bridge pickup for solos. The Randall RG100ES was his main amp, with a Furman PQ-3 EQ for tone shaping. Effects were added via pedals and rack units. All info is for the studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The solo is highly technical, requiring advanced speed, accuracy, and control of both hands, as well as expressive use of effects and whammy bar techniques characteristic of Dimebag's style.
