Notes

Live performance (Live & Loud, Seattle, December 1993). Guitar is Cobain's iconic Jaguar with DiMarzio PAF in bridge, through a Fender Twin Reverb. Not the acoustic Martin D-18E from MTV Unplugged. DS-2 distortion pedal used for solo. No evidence of chorus or modulation in this version.

Difficulty

The solo is straightforward in terms of note choice but requires confident picking, dynamic control, and timing to match the raw, biting tone and phrasing of the original performance.
